It's so nice when someone devotes to you even the smallest moment of their thinking time trying to understand.

I spent yesterday morning laughing on the train and trying to suppress laughter at work to the following line from the Black Adder: Sirs, as I said to chancellor Metternich at the congress in Strasbourg 'Pooh to you with nobs on!' we shall meet sirs at hustings.
and now I'm laughing at it again. that's one of the lines that comes back to me every once in a while and makes me look crazy laughing seemingly for no reason. The other one from blackadder that does that to me is the one with long faeces.. it's not working now though.

and to render this příspěvek at least not half pointless I'm putting down this note that might come handy on that day when i decide to become a stand-up comedian: if there are aliens out there in the wast space of the universe listening and watching all that noise of our media and communications that we broadcast so loud and far, lets hope they are not sphere shaped. lets hope that their body form is not a ball. Because football being a massively TV broadcasted feature and also an insane and brutal celebration of punishing balls, it wouldn't come as a surprise if the aliens shoot first and didn't even ask questions later.
I grant you it needs some polishing.. but it's original material! that matters, no? It came to me out of pure boredom suffered while being submitted to a manly debate about football. and you know... it's quite actual with all the PC people going wild about censoring old movies with content that since became racist or sexist. Where does it stop!? first they start fixing the history and before you know it they're mending the future... No Thanks
